Statements issued to closed accounts

An error occurred during the processing of end of financial year statements for our customers.

This error resulted in a number of closed accounts receiving a statement by mistake.

If you are an existing or previous Rural Bank customer and received a statement for a previously closed account, we can reassure you that this has no impact on this account’s status – it remains closed.

We apologise for any confusion or inconvenience this error has caused.
