Rural Bank’s Mobile Banking App is here
Rural Bank’s new mobile banking app allows customers to do their banking on farm, in town or on the move, when and where it suits.
The app is available to all Rural Bank customers with an iPhone or Android device and can be downloaded from their App store.
“It’s a really friendly and intuitive app, and it’s very easy to use,” said Rural Bank’s Chief Financial Officer, Will Rayner.
“We know that mobile coverage can be limited in some rural locations, so we’ve optimised our app to allow customers to quickly download their banking information when they have coverage.”
Customers can login easily and securely using a four-digit PIN or Touch ID/ fingerprint login.
“Once you’ve logged in, you can check your account balances and move money with ease. You can transfer between accounts, pay your bills and pay contacts.”
The mobile banking app also allows customers to schedule recurring payments into the future and never forget a bill again.
Customers can track payments just by clicking on a payee’s name, view transactions instantly – even card purchases not yet settled, and see interest and charges information on the screen.
Mr Rayner said the new app reflected Rural Bank’s focus on the future.
“We are focused on innovation, and we are striving to better meet the needs of our farmer customers. Farmers want increased flexibility and to transact when it suits them and the Rural Bank App gives them control from the palm of their hand,” Mr. Rayner said.
