Changes to the way you bank with us

Upcoming changes that will impact customers

5 March 2025

The Rural Bank migration to Bendigo Bank will be occurring from 9.00pm (AEDT) on Friday 14th March 2025 to 9.00pm (AEDT) on Sunday 16th March 2025. During this time, access to accounts and services will be temporarily impacted, and access to online banking, mobile application services and to the Bendigo Bank branch network will not be available. However, access to funds via card (including ATM, EFTPOS, and e-commerce) will be available with restricted limits.

Where possible, we suggest you plan ahead to make essential purchases. At the end of the transition period outlined above, full access to your accounts and services will be restored via Bendigo Bank. We thank you for your patience as we make these changes for a better banking experience.

We recently notified Rural Bank customers that Rural Bank products will be transitioned to equivalent Bendigo Bank products in early 2025. We can now confirm that the transition will occur on 14 March 2025.

While many things will stay the same after the transition (e.g. your account number), there will be some changes. A description of the changes is available in the product variation notices available below.

Once the transition happens, you will be able to see your account and product details in Bendigo Bank e-banking, which you can access via www.bendigobank.com.au and the mobile app. We will send you more information on how to do this in due course.

We understand that the transition may be a big change for you. While it is our belief that this is a stronger proposition for you, you may have a different view and we respect that.

We recently notified Rural Bank customers that Rural Bank products will be transitioned to equivalent Bendigo Bank products from 8 November 2024. However, we now need to postpone the transition, which is now anticipated to occur in early 2025. We will update this webpage and advise customers of the new transition date once it is confirmed. We thank customers for their patience as we make these important changes to provide a better banking experience.

You can find your nearest branch, or call our friendly customer support team on 1300 660 115 between 8.30am – 8.00pm AEST Monday to Friday. 

If you have internet, you can register for internet banking, where you can manage your accounts online 24/7. This includes opening RB ONE Term Deposits or RB ONE FMD accounts.

Your Rural Bank Relationship Manager or our Agri Direct team can support you with all your banking needs so give them a call first. If you do not have a Rural Bank Relationship Manager, you can contact our customer support team on 1300 660 115 or visit your nearest Bendigo Bank branch.
