During times of natural disaster, we're here to help our customers and communities in need.

How we can help

Our assistance package is for customers affected by natural disasters. These could include events such as bushfires, floods, storms, droughts and tropical cyclones.

We understand our customers will have different needs. Assistance may come in the form of help with loans or accessing funds.

Customers affected by the current floods in Vic, NSW and Tas

We understand the impact of storms and flood waters will have on our customers. An assistance package has been created to help those in need.

These include:

  • Agribusiness Loan customers can apply for loan repayment deferrals of up to six months;
  • Waiving of interest rate reduction for early withdrawals on term deposits prior to maturity.

Concerned customers are advised to speak with their local relationship manager when it’s safe to do so. Alternatively, Rural Bank customers can contact our Customer Service Centre on 1300 660 115 for more information regarding financial hardship and applying for assistance, or visit our support centre.

Insurance

If you are a Bendigo Bank Insurance customer with a damaged home, rental building, car or other property, please call 13 24 80.

Government assistance

The Victorian Government is supporting eligible primary producers across Victoria. A $10,000 payment is available to help get their businesses up and running again.

Flood affected primary producers can also claim up to 50 percent of transport costs up to $15,000. This is for costs relating to the transport of feed, drinking water or stock.
