Bendigo and Adelaide Bank (BEN) has announced that on 31 May 2019, Rural Bank Ltd intends to transfer its assets, liabilities, business and undertakings to Bendigo and Adelaide Bank Ltd.

This means that Rural Bank will operate as a division of Bendigo and Adelaide Bank Ltd and will not be a separate, stand-alone Authorised Deposit-Taking Institution (ADI).

Rural Bank will continue to offer specialised banking services and products to rural and regional Australia.
