South Australian farmland values grew in 2018
Overview for South Australia:
- The median price per hectare in South Australia increased by 17 per cent in 2018, outperforming the national median growth of 10.7 per cent.
- An estimated 275,136 hectares of farmland was traded in 2018, 15.2 per cent less than 2017.
- The total value of farmland traded in South Australia in 2018 was $772.8 million, a decrease of 5.3 per cent from 2017.
- The Eyre Peninsula recorded the strongest growth with the median price increasing by 91.6 per cent. In contrast, the Yorke and North region recorded a decline of 9.5 per cent in 2018.
