Queensland farmland values grew in 2018
Overview for Queensland:
- The median price per hectare in Queensland increased by 15.7 per cent in 2018.The median price per hectare in Queensland increased by 15.7 per cent in 2018.
- The area of farmland traded across Queensland in 2018 was approximately 4.4 million hectares, an increase of 10.6 per cent compared to 2017.
- The total value of Queensland farmland traded in 2018 was approximately $2.4 billion, an increase of 23.4 per cent compared to 2017.
- West Queensland was the top performing region in 2018, reporting a growth of 27.2 per cent in median price per hectare. In contrast, North Queensland decreased by 0.5 per cent.
