New South Wales farmland values grew in 2018
Overview for New South Wales:
- The median price per hectare in New South Wales increased by 9.6 per cent in 2018, the fifth consecutive year of growth.
- The area of farmland traded in 2018 across the state was approximately 1.58 million hectares, a decrease of 28.2 per cent compared to 2017.
- The total value of New South Wales farmland traded in 2018 was approximately $3.4 billion, a decrease of eight per cent compared to 2017.
- Western New South Wales was the top performing region in 2018, reporting a growth of 50.1 per cent in median price per hectare.
