Sheep Update October 2016

Categories: Sheep & lambs, Commodities

The Ag Answers team’s latest report presents a positive long-term outlook for Australian sheep farmers.

The October 2016 Australian Sheep Update provides producers and industry with a concise summary of trends impacting the Australian sheep sector, including analysis of rainfall, price, production and global and domestic demand.

High prices and a bumper spring for pasture growth have created a solid foundation for a positive longer term outlook.

And, with continued above-average rainfall expected for most of the country right through to the end of the year, strong demand and tight supply are expected to provide support in keeping prices above average as we enter the final quarter of 2016.
