What does the face of real change in your community look like?
With 317 branches across Australia, Bendigo Bank’s Community Bank® network has contributed more than $165 million worth of change to local communities since 1998.
As Bendigo Bank’s agribusiness specialist, Rural Bank is proud to be a part of this story.
By choosing to bank with Rural Bank via Community Bank® branches, customers can help support vital facilities and groups for future generations, and even the smallest contribution can make a big difference.
Recently in Deloraine, Tasmania, Rural Bank customers Jody and Susanna met the faces behind the change within their community and were surprised at the enormity of the impact.
“I feel proud to be a part of the Bank, and that our contribution – however small – is making a difference in our community,” Jody said.
When customers like Jody and Susanna bank with Rural Bank, a financial contribution is made to the local Community Bank® branch. The funds are then distributed to community groups and organisations as shown in these Deloraine stories.
On the day, even Tasmanian Agribusiness Relationship Manager, Dean Lalor, was overwhelmed by the real and positive impact.
“Working for Rural Bank, I understood the Community Bank® model – more than $165 million back into the local communities, providing assistance to schools, football clubs, charities and community groups,” said Dean.
“What I’ve now been given the opportunity to witness, is the people aspect – the sole fabric that holds a community together.”
As a part of the Bendigo and Adelaide Bank family, Rural Bank is proud to provide specialist farm finance solutions though the Community Bank® network. This is one of the many ways Rural Bank supports vibrant regional and rural communities across Australia.
