Bushfire appeal

WA Summer Bushfire Appeal

The east Perth region of Western Australia has been impacted by an out of control bushfire that continues to burn.

There has been a large impact to local communities with one community nearly wiped out. More than 9,000 hectares within an 80 kilometre perimeter have been affected with:

  • more than 9,000 hectares burnt;
  • more than 70 houses have been lost;
  • animals injured.

The Bendigo and Adelaide Bank’s Community Enterprise Foundation has launched a WA Summer Bushfire Appeal. This is raising funds to support community recovery in the areas impacted by the summer bushfire.
