Scam Alert

Rural Bank is aware that some customers have been contacted recently by individuals claiming that the Bank has identified an overcharging of interest/fees and that customers can get a refund either in cash or via a direct credit by calling a certain individual on a number in Sydney.

This activity is a scam. Rural Bank does not request personal information from customers over the phone and all calls to Rural Bank are directed to our Customer Service Centre, not to individuals.

If you are unsure of anyone claiming to be calling on our behalf, please ask for their name and then call Rural Bank to verify their identity. Do not provide your personal information to these individuals.
